FUTURE WORKFORCE FUND
In addition, the Prince’s Trust is working in partnership with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) to deliver a Department for Education funded skills pilot called Future Workforce Fund.
GMCA has committed to match-fund a strategic co-investment with employers. This presents local businesses with a remarkable opportunity to support thousands of young people in Greater Manchester over the next two years.
With businesses and workforces adapting to new economic conditions, we’re encouraging our clients to show their support in one of the following ways:
- Provide work experience to help young people gain valuable insights into the world of work.
- Offer quality work placements to support young people in accessing vital skills and training.
- Help unlock match-funding from the government by providing financial investment.
- Provide mentoring support to young people in education, to help raise their aspirations and support them in making informed choices about their future careers.
