How do you like to start the day?
With a hug from my husband.
What’s the best part of your job?
Meeting people whether that be clients, insurers or introducers.
What’s the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?
Booked a cruise whilst watching Cruising with Jane MacDonald on TV!
How would your friends and family describe you in three words?
Loyal, fun and sparkly!
What’s your favourite song of all time?
My Way by Frank Sinatra as it reminds me of my dad
Who’s your favourite movie star?
Denzel Washington – whatever film he is in is always a one to watch for me.
What book are you reading right now?
Georgia by Lesley Pearse. I have read all her books over the years and I am now reading her first one again.
Is there a sport you wish you could play?
Tennis – I have tried lots of times but my hand/eye co ordination leaves a lot to be desired!
Dress up, dress down or somewhere in-between?
Dress up every time and always with a bit of sparkle.
Where do you go to relax?
The bath with a good book, candles and a glass of wine
Where’s your favourite holiday destination?
I have been lucky enough to enjoy some amazing holidays in Thailand but I would have to say Jimbaran Bay in Bali is my favourite as that is where my husband proposed to me.
What country have you always wanted to visit?
Canada – Orca whale watching is on my wish list and Canada has some of the best whale watching spots in the world. Also, as a skier, I would like to visit Whistler.
Besides your phone, what do you always have with you?
Business cards – you just never know who you might meet.
What’s your favourite post-work tipple?
Either a large glass of dry rose or a vodka and diet coke.
What’s your favourite dish to cook?
Massaman curry and Pad Thai noodles
What’s your favourite restaurant?
The Angel in Dartmouth. They have a tasting menu with wine pairing and it is wonderful!
What’s the best advice you were ever given?
Don’t worry about the things you can’t change, focus on those you can.
What was your first ever job?
I had a Saturday job when I was 13 in my dad’s office where I did filing and making cups of tea for the staff.
What do you bring to a party?
Energy, enthusiasm and lots of chat!
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Peanut butter and binge watching box sets.
